ORDI announces the RACEFOR7 2023 program, scheduled this year in 13 Major Cities in India with an expectation of over 20000 participants in the event. More than 10000 people participated in Racefor7 2020, the last physical event. In 2021 and 2022, ORDI organized virtual running events which had over 4000 participants. This year over 20000 participants are expected across India.
Every year ORDI organizes this big rare disease awareness campaign in India with support from clinical trial, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic support organization, physicians, volunteers and runners with the objective to raise awareness among public, health care providers, policymakers, patient organizations and other stakeholders. As part of Racefor7, short marathons of approximately 7 KM are organized across multiple cities in India which get extensive earned media coverage before and after the Racefor7, and significantly boosts awareness and education on the rare diseases.
This Year, the 8th Edition of Racefor7 starts from the 19th February, 2023 till 26th March 2023 spread across 13 Major cities of India.
