Rare Diseases Are Not Rare! Challenge

The Rare Diseases Are Not Rare! Challenge is a competition sponsored by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), which is part of the National Institutes of Health. We are asking entrants to use their creativity to raise awareness.
This is an opportunity that combines art, science and medicine with the hope that it will bring enjoyment during a time of great uncertainty and stress.

Participants can work individually or as part of a team to create a music video, song, poem, painting, comic, photo collage or other creative product to educate people about rare diseases and the importance of research. If entrants choose to work as part of a team, we ask that they check the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about precautions to take when interacting with others so that everyone can collaborate safely.

There will be cash prizes for first, second and third place winners ($3,000, $1,500 and $500, respectively). All winners and 10 honorable mentions will be posted on the NCATS public website.
