The CSNK2A1 Foundation Pilot Grant Program, developed in collaboration with the Orphan Disease Center University of Pennsylvania, member of the IRDiRC Funders Constituent Committee (FCC), will support one investigator-initiated research project focused on advancing the biological understanding of Okur-Chung Neurodevelopmental Syndrome (OCNDS) and accelerating therapeutic discovery.
This pilot grant is designed to generate high-impact preliminary data, support novel or underexplored research approaches and position investigators for future external funding.
Award Amount and Duration
• $50,000 total costs
• Project duration: up to 12 months
• Indirect costs are not permitted
• International applicants are welcome
Priority Research Areas
Proposals must be directly relevant to OCNDS and CSNK2A1 biology and may focus on disease mechanisms & variant-level biology, biomarker discovery or validation, therapeutic approaches.
