Call for experts to support the IRDiRC Working Group
on Digital Biomarkers
The Therapies Scientific Committee (TSC) is establishing a Working Group on Digital Biomarkers to develop frameworks and processes that increase the adoption and qualification of digital biomarkers as clinical endpoints in rare disease therapeutic development. This work builds on the following paper: IRDiRC perspectives on the application of digital biomarkers in therapeutic development for rare diseases
IRDiRC is looking for members to populate this Task Force with the above expertise and experience in the following areas:
- Software developers who have contributed to the development of digital biomarkers
- Technologists with experience with digital endpoints in the life cycle of health product development and access
- Medtech and pharma experts with experience working on developing and/or implementing digital endpoints
- Patient representatives who have experience of digital endpoints
- Clinicians and trial specialists who work in relevant fields
- Data Scientists / Researchers
- Regulators with a special interest in digital technologies
The call for candidates is open to experts from around the globe.
The usual time commitment includes monthly 1-hour teleconferences, regular email correspondence and collaborative working, with the opportunity to co-author peer reviewed article(s).
